Day 4 - Cape Breton Island - I'm here...

I think there are not many places here having Air Conditioning. The motel I stayed in did not have one, all the places I visited today did not have one. Fans - yes, but an AC...

I woke up at around 5:30AM and felt like I just fell asleep with TV on... I turned the TV off and tried to sleep for another hour or so... No luck...

Got up and started packing... The fan I put at front of the gear did it's job - everything was dry...

Snapped my back loading top box on the bike to the point I couldn't straighten myself up... Lisa, the name of the owner of the place (with her husband) was outside walking her pet - a white rabbit... She is a very nice lady and I had a nice chat with the both of them last night. There were several bikers from around the town staying in that motel so I chimed in with beer my beer... Apparently Lisa and her husband are teachers in real life and just came back from South Korea - bot rode bikes - Harley's here but dirt bikes in SK. They have been teaching English Language there for 10 years and very much like it... They asked if I was Korean... or not...

My first destination for today was Peggy's Cove Lighthouse. Actually, entire day was a pleasure ride, not too fast, not to slow, not too straight neither...

After the lighthouse I stopped by Halifax Citadel and went all of the way Route 7 to Cape Breton Island. Very nice road, beat up, but nice for an adventure bike...

I'm staying in one of the Provincial Park's Campgrounds - VERY NICE. US State and National Parks SUCK in comparison to Canada's... Very clean and organized and convenient and all - you'll see in the pictures.

Finally reached Atlantic Ocean - no joke, it took me more than 3 days... It was nice sitting there at Peggy's Cove and enjoy the breeze... Even though it was foggy I have no regrets... May be a little...

From there I went directly, by coast, to Halifax... Mid ride I hit the showers and since I'm so much experienced in getting wet, I immediately stopped and put rain gear...

...it stopped as soon as I started riding. It was a 20 min ride and I looked like an idiot in all gear while others rode in t-shirts...

Got to the Halifax Citadel - it's all Scotland scottish...

The girls at the Gift Shop...

See where my bike is parked?

Wow, it takes time to upload pictures... Here are some more...

Camping at Meat Cove tomorrow night, so there will be no update...

Good night, it's almost midnight here...
