Day 7 - Good bye Nova Scotia

Left Nova Scotia. It was a great experience riding along the roads through villages and little towns, and big cities learning their heritage and style of living... Well, everything is based on aka Scotland in North America... Guess those immigrants came and populated the area and called it New Scotland in their name..

I spent two nights camping in Meat Cove... I recommend, to all adventurous people, loving to camp, go to Nova Scotia (or Canada in general), - they have everything to make you travels convenient. Of course all the motels and hotels will cost you double here than in US, but you get what you pay for... Generally, camping is more expensive here since it's upscale - again, you get what you pay for..

Just for you, travelers, everything is more expensive here than in US, including gas... But, their gas doesn't have ETHANOL (you know all the gas station in US have a sticker saying "may have 10% Ethanol" - alcohol for me) - which is not good for an engine despite what they are saying...

The bike has performed superior... No problems so far... and I didn't take it easy, believe me... I gotta love 135 horse power, I think I passed everyone on my routes, except the POLICE car when I had to overtake a slow dude in seconf lane over a double yellow.... Ooops... I slowed down and took the next exit to local road which eventually taken me back to my original route...

Again, with regrets I left the Meat Cove Campground... I wish I had more time I'd stay overthere for a week... It's very romantic place, I hope I'll be able to take my wife and my kids there some day...

I rode through towns like Inverness, Glencoe Station, Glasgo etc... all the names you can find in England/Scotland... Everything in Nova Scotia is a cheap copy of Scotland, including the lack of Castles and history (thousans of years of history of course)

Took a ferry to PEI - Prince Edward Island, a separate Province with their own license plates and such... Well, the route I'd gone was all flat and all of road that I wanted to go were sandy.. I didn't risk the new Explorer to explore their sand on the side of the bike... I turned around (pussy, I know)

So, I rode through their capital, Charlottestown (or something) and crossed the bridge to mainland - New Brunswick Province... The name of the bridge is "Confederation Bridge" - go here to check - it's long http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confederation_Bridge

So I was in and out of PEI in no time - thanks for the Explorer...

Now I'm at a Campground at some French community here in New Brunswick "state" - all speak both languages, but all kids around curse in French...

OK, now... My previous post Day 5-6 was done on Day 6 and I thought it was posted, but i found out today, at the pier, waiting for the ferry, that it wasn't PUBLISHED... For some reason it was saved in DRAFT. So, if you know I said I would, please call me, text me, announce over an Emergency Services - PUBLISH you posts damn it...

Sorry for that, it was my fault, I was working on my BLOG and at the same timeuploading a short video clip on You-Freaking-Tube... I thought everything was done properly and went back to the camp... Guess I should double-tripple check everything from now on...

Speaking of the YouTube video, it's a two-minute clip, but it disappeared for some reason... you know, I'm in a middle of nowhere, with WiFi internet, uploading a video and bitching thing don't go right... OK, it's uploading now - already at 50% since... 10 minutes before I started typing my Day 7 post...

I will upload the pictures in a minute, the two pretty girls you see are the daughters of the owner of this incredible place. They live in Sydney and the younger daughter attends their University - studying Sociology ( I hope I spelled it right)...

Also, at the Restaurant I had lunch, the waitress was a young girl who live there and goes to High
school back in a town - one hour drive on a School bus - they drive their own car on dirt road to the first paved and then School bus takes them. And it's both ways... WOW!!!! You don't want to be a minute late to the School bus...

OK, here is the video from two nights ago I tried to upload.

Good night everyone, thanks for reading... Missed my family... Picture sent by iMessage
